About us

A different language is a different vision of life.

Federico Fellini
Film director (1920 - 1993)

When I was thinking about establishing my own school in 2000  I imagined a friendly place where I would teach Polish language. My dreams came true and currently CPS The Centre for Polish Studies has hundreds of students from all around the world. We have improved our trainings and coaching offer and now we have got another brand called Aspre

The most important values of our school are:

                    high quality of service,

                    wide range of courses,

                    best modern materials,

                    effective modern teaching methods,

certified teachers dedicated to their work,

great location in the city centre.

Our clients' opinions and their experience are our compass showing us the path to success and students‘ satisfation as well as staff working at CPS - The Centre for Polish Studies.

We know that to get the highest level of language takes time. To make it effective we follow our students' needs  using modern teaching methods.  We offer modern technologies organizing e.g.  skype lessons or self study e-learning system. Two of our great teachers have written self study book "Codziennie po polsku" (for beginners A1) with practical everyday dialogs.

We apply a direct method on our survival courses. However, when preparing students for certificate exams our method takes all facets of language learning into consideration: reading, writing, speaking and comprehension.

CPS teaches Polish according ALTE system: Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. All our teachers have master degrees and certificates that allow them to teach Polish as a foreign language. They also regularly participate in methodological trainings.

100 % of our students have passed the certificate exam in Polish, most of them with very good results.

Among all our clientele have been:  US Embassy, Japanese Embassy, British Embassy, French Embassy, Indian Embassy,  Australian Embassy, European Parliament, EU Commission, Bank PKO SA, Dragados, Polaqua, Franklin Templeton Inv. and many more.

We are proud of what we have achieved for 19 years of teaching Polish as a foreign language.

We believe that everyone who is interested in learning Polish effectively will find the best offer here, at CPS&Aspre.
